Java Developer

Responsibilities:
-
Play an active role in the following aspects: Java EE web application development; maintenance and support of current projects.
-
Customizing and building an ecommerce engine and web application.
-
To work closely with the project team in the areas of design, requirement, and specification, implementation, coding and testing.
-
To ensure all source codes are bug free, optimized, written and documented in compliance to company’s standard.
-
To ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements:
-
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

This position is also open to final year students who are undertaking their practical / industrial training.

MUST have knowledge in Java (JDK 1.6 and above) especially in JEE (JEE5 and above) technological stack.
-
MUST have at least 3 years working experience in building web application.
-
MUST familiar with using Eclipse, Maven, Spring framework.
-
Preferably have experience and familiar with these technologies, tools and platforms:
-
Experience with Eclipse IDE and/or NetBeans IDE.

Experience developing test cases with the JUnit framework, TestNG, Selenium.
-
Experience with various Java Web frameworks such as Spring, Struts, Wicket, Seam.
-
Experience with ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, NoSQL.
-
Experience with Java EE application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, Geronimo.
-
Experience in database usage and design such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL.
-
Experience with Web technologies such as JavaScript, AJAX, XML, SOAP.

Experience with Maven build tool.

Experience in the implementation of eCommerce.
-
Experience with Fatwire is a BIG PLUS POINT.

Must be able to work independently and have a professional attitude and conduct.
